Tiny but Mighty

Here is Katie at 3 yeas old getting ready for her first swim meet. She is the youngest member ever to be on swim team. She had been bugging me for weeks to join. But being so young I thought it was a little much even though I knew she could qualify. Well one day at the pool Melissa 'the swim coach' was there lifeguarding. Katie yelled "Miss Melissa watch!" She jumped in and did the back stroke the entire length of the pool. (Mind you under 6 only has to swim 1/2 the length of the pool.) She jumped out of the water and with all the attitude in the world put her hand s on her hips and looked strait at me and said "NOW CAN I JOIN SWIM TEAM?!!!" Well obviously you can see here I let her at that point. The older girls were so cute writing "Tiny but Mighty " on her back. I was cracking up!

What an awesome wedding. Everything was so beautiful! Including the bride of course! And I don't know what it is about having a reception at North Ridge but it ALWAYS is a good time. The BAND they had was AWESOME!

I must say Michele has fantastic taste. She did the wedding completely herself and the details and colors were all so unique and absolutely stunning. She also had the unique idea of goign to Pullen Park between the ceremony and reception for a quick shoot. How fun!!!
